Hi, my name is
ZOË ANSALDI
I'm a design engineer, interested in all things product.
I believe that good design is functional, starting from thorough research revolving around the user and their environment, in order to consolidate a reliable launchpad for the project to set off from.
I often refer to Bruno Munari's vision of design, where:
"the design method is nothing other than a series of necessary operations, organised in a logical order dictated by experience."
Implying that:
“The problem itself will contain all the elements that make the solution possible”.
I've moved around a lot in my life. I lived in Armenia, Iran, the UK and Italy when I was young, and continued travelling when I was older.
I was incredibly lucky to be able to work and study abroad - before and during university - , in Thiès (Senegal), Madrid and finally Stockholm.
My family is to "blame" for this wonderful lifestyle:
I come from a dual nationality household, British and Italian, which allowed me to broaden my cultural and linguistic horizons from a very young age.
I keep my experiences close to heart with every new step in my personal and professional career.
